This is a complete kit, designed for cars without power locks. </p><p> One important question is "Can I do this myself." I would like to believe that the answer is YES. This is a prewired the system, so all you have to do is run the wires and hook up the power door lock actuators. All you are wiring that you do into the car is a positive and a negative. The kit ships with the keyless entry wiring already done. If you can hook up a basic car stereo, you should be able to install this kit. I can honestly say that the hardest part of this kit is running the wires from the car to the door. The wires are in an awkward spot, and it will take some time and effort to run those wires. But I provide a special tool to help with that.
